John Dagys is a motorsports publisher, journalist and photographer, having covered international sports car racing since 2005. He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Sportscar365.com and also contributes to FOXSports.com, among other publications worldwide.

John got his start in motorsports in 2005 when he co-founded The-Paddock.net, a sports car racing news site, before moving on to write for other publications, including Motorsport.com.

In 2009, John joined SPEED.com, where he served as the site’s Sportscar Racing Reporter. His career highlight came in 2012 when he revealed the news of the upcoming merger between the American Le Mans Series and Grand-Am, North America’s two sports car racing series.

With SPEED.com’s demise in August 2013, John founded Sportscar365 in September 2013. The site has become the leading independent English-language news source for sports car racing worldwide, reaching more than 100,000 unique visitors monthly. Sportscar365 employs multiple reporters based around the world.

The Web site is part of John Dagys Media, LLC, which specializes in client-based photography, editorial content and more.

John graduated from Columbia College Chicago in May 2009, with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism – News Reporting and Writing and is a co-author of the 2009 American Le Mans Series Official Yearbook.
